Description & Application Along with oil and petrol resistant sealants for connections, the use of paronite PON is equally in high demand. The scope of application for paronite PON extends to all sectors of industry. Its specific purpose lies in its use as a sealant for flat joints.
During the manufacturing of paronite PON, it undergoes testing for its sealing properties. Testing is conducted in a steam environment inside autoclaves. Here, the product is tested under a load of 100 atm and temperatures up to 450°C. In tests involving light petroleum products, the pressure reaches 150 kgf/cm². Paronite PON remains functional in environments such as: air and heated fresh water, superheated steam and inert gases, aqueous solutions of salts and alcohols, ammonia and nitrogen, light petroleum products, and others.

Grade "PON-B" — General Purpose: Fresh superheated water, saturated and superheated steam, dry neutral and inert gases, air, aqueous solutions of salts, liquid and gaseous ammonia, alcohols, liquid oxygen and nitrogen, heavy and light petroleum products.
Density: 1.8–2.0 g/cm³.
