Detailed Technical Description
Structure: APR-31 packing is a material that combines a braided asbestos base and brass wire to ensure strength and durability. To enhance operational performance and improve antifriction properties, the packing is impregnated with a grease composition including petroleum extracts and graphite.
Manufacturing & Packaging: APR-31 packing (GOST 5152-84) is produced in the form of a graphited cord, which can have either a round or square cross-section. The range of sizes varies from 4 to 50 mm. Material is supplied in coils or on bobbins weighing 15–20 kg each. To ensure ease of storage and transportation, the coils are wrapped in plastic film.
Application: This type of packing has high versatility and can be applied in environments interacting with neutral and aggressive liquids, gases, as well as petroleum products. It is widely demanded in various industries where high reliability and durability of sealing elements are required.
